Comedy Writing Camp, the first of its kind in Ghana, is an ultimate destination where creativity collides with comedy, offering an immersive experience in the craft of comedic writing. Dive into the art of comedy writing with our interactive workshops led by experienced comedians and writing experts. Learn essential techniques for crafting hilarious jokes, developing comedic characters, and structuring engaging storytelling.
COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS
Get those creative juices flowing with our lively brainstorming sessions, where comedians work together in groups to write and generate new ideas. The purpose of this activity is to present participants with the opportunity to work with their peers and experts on fresh and original material.
PERFORMANCE PRACTICE
Put your comedic chops to the test with our performance practice sessions, where participants have the opportunity to share their newly developed material from the collaborative projects to refine and receive constructive feedback and guidance from our team of experienced comedians.
Q & A SESSIONS
Gain insights and inspiration from special guest speakers, industry professionals, and seasoned comedians who share their experiences, tips, and tricks for success in the world of comedy. Participate in interactive Q&A sessions where you can ask questions, seek advice, and learn from the best in the business.
COMEDY SHOW
We will crown all activities with a Comedy Show where our participants step into the spotlight and perform the materials they wrote to a live audience of comedy lovers. Participants could test out new material or perform polished routines from the workshop.
